The Spinal Trust assists people with spinal impairments, and their whanau, to embrace positive futures. They provide support and information to help people overcome challenges and pursue opportunities. They also assist in creating strong networks in a number of ways, including a peer support programme. These things all cost money, and being in the not-for-profit sector, e support their cause
What Was Done
Hyman Marks stepped up to fund the Peer Support Programme for the Spinal Trust.
The Outcomes
The Peer Support programme was able to continue, creating a great support system for people with spinal impairments and their whanau.
